Twenty or so years ago it was quite a trick to get hold of the kinds of illustration you really needed for a project - and only a few specialist agencies in large cities had significant numbers of professional illustrators on their books - with printed card books available only to publishers and editors that could afford the services of these agencies.

Nowadays things are so much easier and illustrations from all over the world, in a myriad of styles and formats can be sourced quite easily if you know what you are looking for and where to look for it. And that is where our services come in - establishing the criteria for the use of illustration work - art directing for a particular project is what we can do for you. We will discuss budgets, media formats, delivery times - taking care that we understand all your requirements and then sourcing the type of work you require.

What we can supply In-House

We can supply a few basic illustration styles in-house - many of our illustrations are dispersed around the site. Our creative director is working on a series of vectorised flower drawings for an ongoing project. The kinds of drawing styles we can offer can be seen in the flash sketchbook gallery on the front page and use a great deal of flat colour that is reminiscent of photo-realistic screen printing. We can create simple comic characters, basic technical drawings and even the odd architectural drawing but for very specific styles of illustration it is normal to outsource the work to an illustrator whose particular style a project demands.

It is quite amazing what is available and we love searching through online portfolios and finding stuff that we like.
